Effective | Proven | FDA-Cleared
Medical-Grade MicroNeedling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result: effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact. Procedures take about 30-45 minutes, depending on the area treated and the desired results. Due to their non-invasive nature, Medical-Grade Micro-Needling sessions usually require little downtime for patients.
The SkinPen® Precision is clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars for ages 22 and up and wrinkles of the neck. With as few as three non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment.
Procedures typically take about 30-45 minutes, depending on the area treated and the desired results. Due to their non-invasive nature, micro-needling sessions usually require little downtime for patients.
Treatments start from $585 per session. The overall cost depends on the size of the area being treated and includes a post treatment care kit. Save on treatment costs with treatment packages.
For scar reduction, wrinkles and skin rejuvenation, an average of 3-6 treatments are recommended. The number of treatments required will depend on how each individual responds to treatment.
Medical-Grade MicroNeedling can be safely performed on all skin types. However, a consultation is recommended prior to treatment.
Medical-Grade MicroNeedling stimulates the body’s own collagen and elastin production to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin. The benefits of this treatment include:
- Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
- Improvement in the appearance of stretch marks (striae) and crepey skin
- Reduction in scarring – surgical or acne scars
- Restoration of Complexion – evens out skin tone
- Reduction in production of melanin levels – excess melanin production results in hyperpigmentation (dark complexion and spots)

Acne Scars? Wrinkles?
MicroNeedling enhances cellular activity by creating thousands of controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, and prompting an inflammatory response, initiating collagen formation. Over time, this repeated healing process significantly improves skin texture and overall appearance, rejuvenating the skin effectively.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Medical-Grade MicroNeedling?
Medical-Grade MicroNeedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that offers a solution for a variety of skin conditions and concerns. Medical-Grade MicroNeedling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. It stimulates your skin’s natural ability to repair itself, activates cellular renewal and produces new collagen and elastin for healthier, younger looking skin.
What is SkinPen® Precision?
SkinPen® Precision System is the first and only FDA cleared Class II MicroNeedling device for aesthetic use by healthcare professionals in the US! An automated, non-surgical Micro-Needling device, it incorporates a sterile MicroNeedle cartridge and BioSheath for single use only. SkinPen® Precision is extremely versatile and can be used on all parts of the body: face, neck, décolleté, arms, legs, abdomen and back.
How Does it Work?
SkinPen® Precision uses tiny needles that create microscopic channels in the dermis which allows for the controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair mechanism. This in-turn triggers new collagen and elastin fibers to form, creating a smoother, firmer and younger looking skin. SkinPen® Precision can reverse years of sun damage, improve acne & surgical scars, reduce pore size and enhance the overall appearance of aging skin.
Am I a Candidate?
Medical-Grade MicroNeedling can be safely performed on all skin types. However, a consultation is recommended prior to treatment.
Who is Not a Candidate?
Treatments with SkinPen® Precision are contraindicated for patients with: keloid scars, scleroderma, collagen vascular diseases or cardiac abnormalities, a hemorrhagic disorder or hemostatic dysfunction, active bacterial or fungal infection. Medical-Grade Micro-Needling Treatments with SkinPen® have not been evaluated in the following patients:

Is There Any Downtime?
After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance, similar to a moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity on the area being treated. Total healing time depends on the severity of the damaged skin and the depth of the repair process required. On average, patients are pink for two to three days. Some patients heal completely in 24 hours.
How Long Does the Treatment Take?
The actual procedure typically takes about 30 minutes depending on the size and number of areas treated and the severity of damage on the skin. The treated areas are numbed with a topical anesthetic prior to treatment. Patients undergoing a Medical-Grade MicroNeedling should plan on being in the office for a total of 45 – 60 minutes.
When Will I See Results?
Majority of patients will notice healthier looking skin immediately. The natural repair process of the skin continues to progress over the course of several weeks. Dermal collagen remodeling takes place over time and it will continue to improve for up to 6 months after treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments required will vary from patient to patient and your provider will personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. Although one treatment is beneficial, a series of treatments is usually recommended. Multiple treatments (3-6) may be necessary over 4 week intervals.
